Our Mystery Shop project enables businesses to understand how they are viewed by their customers. We then celebrate excellence in terms of customer service via the Cambridge BID Awards.
What is the project:
Cambridge BID facilitates a mystery shop visit to participating businesses (around June / July each year), giving them a unique opportunity to understand how they are viewed by their current and prospective customers. The project provides businesses with a comprehensive breakdown of the mystery-shop visit via 1-2-1 online feedback sessions.
The Cambridge BID Awards are presented to those businesses that achieve the highest scores in their Mystery Shop visits and winners and runners up are awarded in each of the categories listed below.
How to get involved?
This is an ongoing project and businesses within the BID area can register to participate in 2024. We are looking for participating businesses in the following categories:
Late Night Venue (bars, pubs and clubs)
Restaurant
Café
Independent Business – Fashion, Beauty & Accessories
Independent Business – Other
National Business – Fashion
National Business – Shoes & Accessories
National Business – Other
Professional Business
Leisure / Tourism
Accommodation Provider
University B&B
Market or Street Trader
