Cambridge Business Improvement District (BID) is a collaboration of 1,200 businesses, working together to promote and improve the city. This is achieved through a range of projects under two themes: Welcome and Experience Connect and Support. Key projects include the Cambridge City Ambassadors, The Visit Cambridge Website and PR for the city, the Love Cambridge Gift Card, our city-wide Christmas lights programme, Our Purple Flag safe night out project, the Love Cambridge summer film nights, additional street cleaning, our Mystery Shop programme and working with the office sector. A Third BID term was successfully voted for in November 2022 ensuring further project delivery until March 2028.

Do you have a passion for Cambridge and love helping others? We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our vibrant team as Cambridge BID Ambassadors!
Positions available: Full-Time & Part-time Seasonal 1st April – 31st October
Hours: 9am-5pm, 37.5 hours a week, flexible over 7 days
Location: Cambridge City, primarily at Market Square and Station Place.
Salary: £12.50 per hour.
What You'll Do:
· Greet and assist visitors with your expert knowledge of the city.
· Promote local cultural events, shopping spots, and attractions.
· Work at key city locations, enhancing the visitor experience.

Are you passionate about Cambridge? Do you enjoy engaging with people and want to promote a vibrant city experience? Cambridge BID is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our prestigious team as City Ambassadors!
Role: Cambridge BID City Ambassador (full-time) Location: Cambridge City (primarily King’s Parade and Station Place). Hours: Full-time, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours a week, over flexible rota scheduling). There will be instances of work at weekends and bank holidays, on a fair and equitable team rota basis.
Salary: £26,500 per year
What You’ll Do:
Be the Friendly Face of Cambridge: Greet visitors and locals alike, providing expert knowledge on city events, attractions, and shopping.
Enhance Visitor Experience: Actively promote the city's dynamic events and activities, ensuring every visitor leaves with a memorable experience.
Support Local Businesses: Collaborate with and support local businesses by promoting BID initiatives and acting as a vital link between the BID team and the business community.
