Following a bumper December Cambridge BID is delighted to announce that over £100,000 worth of Love Cambridge Gift Cards were issued in 2021 – that is over £100,000 that has to be spent within the BID area, in person, in participating businesses.

We currently have approx. 200 BID businesses signed up to accept the Love Cambridge Gift Card but are always looking to add additional participating businesses and therefore if you are not currently signed up to accept it please do get in touch ASAP.

The Love Cambridge Gift Card is a pre-paid Mastercard – if you can accept Mastercard via swipe (not chip and pin or contactless), you can accept our gift card and the transaction will go through exactly as your current Mastercard transactions do and you will receive the money into your business account as you would any other Mastercard transaction – there are no addition costs, is it classed as a debit card transaction.

You will need to complete a merchant participation form signing up your business which Helen will email across and then a member of the team will pop in to activate your PDQ machine by swiping one of our gifts card through it.
