Never is there a better time to experience the delights that Cambridge has to offer than at Christmas. The twinkling lights, carol singers and Christmas cheer make it an enjoyable experience for all.
Cambridge has a fantastic array of Independent shops, boutiques, restaurants, and cafes that at Christmas time dress their windows to give shoppers an extra little treat whilst they are out choosing gifts for their loved ones.
2020 Christmas Window Shortlist
What is the Competition?
Each year Cambridge BID encourage independent retailers to join in the Christmas Window Competition and this year we are delighted to be running it again.
Businesses will be judged in the following areas:
Originality/ Creativity
Visual Impact
Festivity
Coherence of the display as a whole
Businesses do not have to sign up, all independent businesses in the Cambridge BID area will be entered automatically this year.
Timeline:
Judging will take place on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd December 2021 so make sure your Christmas window displays are ready for then!
The shortlisted businesses will be put to a public vote running from 8th - 15th December 2021 on the Love Cambridge Facebook page.
After the public vote the winning business will receive a cheque from Cambridge BID for £150 to give to a charity of their choice, along with coverage in Cambridge Independent.
