In Summary - in addition to the extra 50p per hour of stay for arrivals between 8am and 10am on weekdays imposed last April these proposals include an additional peak hour tariff of 50p per hour of stay for arrivals between 11am and 1pm on a Saturday and Sunday, key shopping times in the city.
It is also proposed to delay the evening reduction in parking charges from 6pm to 7pm. This is a key arrival time in the city for the night time economy and pre theatre trade. This follows on from the moving of this time when reduced charges begin from 5pm to 6pm.
