Cambridge Standing Tall

A Towering Sculpture Trail took place in Spring 2024

Welcome to Cambridge Standing Tall - Brought to you by BREAK

In the Summer of 2024, Cambridge played host to the gentle giants of the African plains, with 31 beautifully decorated giraffe sculptures galloping onto the city’s streets! Alongside them over 60 Mini Gs, each created by local schools and community groups also appeared.

This towering sculpture trail brought together communities from all corners of the city, and encouraged them to look up at the spectacular art on offer while supporting Break, a charity working in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire to raise aspirations of the county’s young care leavers.

At the end of the trail, the sculptures were put up for auction and raised an incredible £142,000 to help fund the amaing work Break do.
