Local businesses are invited to celebrate Small Business Saturday as part of a national campaign which is designed to encourage shoppers to buy local. Now in its seventh year in the UK, the campaign has grown significantly each year with an estimated £812m spent in small businesses across the UK on 2018’s Small Business Saturday – an 8% increase on last year.
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages shoppers to buy products from local, small businesses. This year, Small Business Saturday falls on Saturday 7 December.
